Busy Baby!

PROBLEM!

SOLUTION!

O-MY-GOSH! This child is into EVERYTHING! Every time I go into her room, the diapers are all over the floor, in the kitchen the cupboards are empty and everything that was in them is found all over the floor. She even empties the garbage's all around the house for us. She is just busy, busy, busy!

Put on your DUDES!

When my niece, Jaydenn, was younger she called her sunglasses DUDES and it has stuck with us since then! Kaleigh loves to wear her DUDES and since I have no pictures of all three of us together I thought I would post this one just for fun! What do you think of Trev's sunglasses? (He had to barrow them from Mr. Potato Head!)

So, if there is one thing that Kaleigh is serious about in life so far... it is her dancing! She is out of control when it comes to dancing and especially when it is Baby Mozart that she is listening to! We have to hold on to her very tight when we are in church and they start to sing a hymn. It is really fun to watch her grow and learn and develop her own little personality! We do have to admit that we are a little nervous for the future and both agree that we are going to have our hands full with this hyper child!

Happy Thanksgiving!

What a fun Thanksgiving we had! I have to be honest when I say that I was not really looking forward to my first Thanksgiving away from home. I thought it would be okay, but that I would wish we were home the whole time. Well, it would have been fun to be home, but it was also really fun here. We started off the day playing football with some people in our ward. I don't know if our team won or not, but I am proud to say that I made a touchdown! I have never made one before, so that was exciting! It was really fun to watch all the couples trying to juggle our babies while playing football at the same time. We did a few trick plays with them by passing the baby and then catching the football to go in for a touchdown! All three of the babies are great football players!
We then went to the Owen's home along with a few other couples in the ward to eat a delicious Thanksgiving meal! While we ate and hung out for a while, Kaleigh was busy kissing Carson. I would say we are in trouble with this little girl, but it was Trevan that is teaching her this habit. So, which one of them is suppose to get in trouble?
We are very THANKFUL this Thanksgiving to have such an amazing ward out here in Baltimore. They have made us feel so welcome, and we have such a fun time with them anytime we can get together. It is so nice to have a family away from home! It is nice that they made it possible for us to end our Thanksgiving holiday with a sore body, and a full belly!

27 yrs old!

27 Years Old! aahhhh! I am only 3 years away from my 30's. Now that is scary. I had a great Birthday! First of all, Trev let me sleep in. That in and of itself was good enough for me! Then when I woke up, I opened my bedroom door and heard Trev tell me to go back inside the room and shut the door! While I enjoyed just relaxing on the bed a little longer, Trevan came into the room with Kaleigh crawling behind him and he had made me BREAKFAST IN BED! It was my very first BREAKFAST IN BED! He then got the camera and filmed me while he sang the Hatch Family Birthday Song to me! Then I blew out my candle. (The sugar cookie candle that Trev grabbed out of the kitchen!)
We then got ready and went to church. After church, we came home ate and then opened some gifts that my mom had sent me! I got some new clothes, some delicious pine nuts, and my in-laws gave me money to go buy a new laminator machine from Target! Trevan got me some paper for the machine. So... now I have some fun projects to work on to keep myself busy! We then watched a movie before going to bed and officially becoming an old lady!
It really was a fun B-Day!

1st Halloween!

Gardner cousins!

It was so fun to go to Provo and meet Kaleigh's new little cousins. We rarely get to have all the cousins together at the same time!

Congrats to Ben and Camille!

Congrats to Ben and Camille Hatch! It was fun to go to Provo a few weeks ago for our Brother Ben to get married to Camille Stout! We are so excited for them! Grandma Hatch made these cute little dresses for the girls to wear at the wedding.

Best time of the Year!

This is my favorite time of the year! Not only because of the beautiful trees, the fun Holidays and lots of family events, but because of the PINE NUTS! There were no pine nuts on sale last year so I have gone two long years without them, and for those of you who know me well, you know that was torture for me. To my surprise, while driving down the street in Provo a few weeks ago, I saw the Large Jumbo Pine Nuts sign and stopped immediately! I have to limit myself to one little bag a week (usually during a BYU football game!), so that they will last me longer! Now I am a happy person for the year though!

Goodbye, Farewell!

This post is mostly for my cousin Darise! We went shopping together in High School once and each got a pair of these pants! I don't know if she still has hers, but after 9+ yrs, many many patches, and one last huge rip in them, I decided I had no choice but to chuck them. I think this is the one piece of clothing that I have had the longest, but it is nice to say "I got my money's worth out of them!"

Getting so BIG so FAST!

Trev and I agree with each other that Kaleigh has all the sudden gotten so BIG so FAST! She has started to climb up everything in sight, crawling faster and faster and non-stop talking. Everything she says is "Dotty, Dod, Dye", I have a feeling her first words are going to be "Daddy". Just thought I would post a few cute pictures of her that we have recently taken!

Rosh Hashana under the Stars!

We decided to spend last Monday night with the Jewish people to celebrate Rosh Hashana! This is their celebration of the New Year. It is the 2nd Holiest day in the year. We went to Rosh Hashana Under the Stars and ate apples and honey with them to celebrate a sweet New Year!
Before we went though, my friend Julianna and I made some jewish bread and took it with us to eat with our families!
It was really fun, and interesting learning so many things about the Jewish culture our here!

What to do now?

I am a little bummed right now about the seasons changing. It is starting to get cold here in the evenings, and I am not sure what Kaleigh and I are going to do without our evening walk. (One of the three we take everyday.) When she gets upset, and fussy... a walk does the trick for me ever time. I will have to think of something new, any ideas?

Finally!

Kysen and Talon have finally come! My sister Aarin and brother-in-law Tyler have their hands full now! I think that they look just like their mommy and daddy! We welcome the first grandsons to the family! However, they are not the first by too much because my other sister Ryann also had a baby boy last night named Tracen! He is super cute too, and I will post some pictures of him as soon as I get some! Congrats to Ryann and the Maughans!

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy!

While living in Provo, Grandmom taught me how to make home made bread! I was so excited to make it all the time out here in Baltimore until I realized that I do not own a mixer, and am not about to try doing it by hand. Well, I met a girl in the ward who just got a new kitchen aid and we now make bread together every Monday morning!
If you have never made it before-TRY IT! You will never want to buy the store bread again! Plus, it makes your house smell so good while it is cooking in the oven!

Rub-a-dub-dub! Who's that in the tub?

I don't know if it is inappropriate to put pictures of a naked baby on a blog, but I just think that this picture is so cute and wanted to share it! Bath time is her favorite time! Especially trying to grab the water when it is coming out. Always disappointed when she looks in her hands after trying to grab it and realizes that there is nothing in it!

Thank you Grandma Neve!

Don't you think that Kaleigh looks so cute in the dress that Grandma Neve made her?

Crawling!

We are officially Baltimorians!

We are officially Baltimorians! (As sister Allison in the ward puts it!) We arrived here about two weeks ago and have had crazy lives since then! However, things are finally calming down. We finally have a kitchen with food in it so we can eat real meals, we have the internet so we can blog and communicate with the outside world, and best of all we have the T.V and can watch the first BYU football game tonight!
We are really doing great though! Trev is so excited to start his schooling and find a little part time job somewhere! I am excited to learn my way around Baltimore, find an online job (any ideas?) and hang out with the other women and children in the ward! The ward is honestly what is going to keep us going out here! (At least keep me going because it will help me have a social life!) They have been great to us and I know we are going to make some good friends.
It is a totally new and different life for us, but we are excited about it!

Scary, Crazy and Insane!

I will never complain again about the traffic in Provo! This is what we get to look forward to around 4:00 in the afternoon! I will admit to being a little nervous driving alone around here!

Favorite toys!

Kaleigh has an entertainment chair, a bin full of toys and the only thing that seems to work lately is my kitchen utensils! The older she gets, the harder to entertain she gets as well!

The newest Victoria Secret model!

What do you guys think? If they had a baby Victoria Secret, would she be in it?

First Playgroup!

Thank goodness for playgroups in the wards outside of Utah! The girls in our ward have been great about making me feel welcome! They wasted no time with getting hold of me and making sure I knew about the playgroups and went to the zoo with them my first week here! Too bad Kaleigh was more interested in eating her feet than watching the animals!

Our new home!

This is our new apartment! It is a two bedroom, two bathroom and I think we are going to like it a lot!

Fun before moving!

Just before we moved, we went to my cousins wedding in the Salt Lake City temple and took this cute picture of Kaleigh! We also had a bbq with the Hatch family and took a picture of Kaleigh with her best cousin Danielle!

Moving!

I hate when people never update their blogs, and I am definitely guilty of it right now! I just thought I would get on and let you all know that we are in the process of moving to Baltimore right now and I will update a.s.a.p!

Hiking the Narrows!

All the pain the our necks, shoulders, backs, arms, hands, hips, legs, feet, and toes was worth it to hike the Narrows! Trev's parents took us with them and we hiked for two days strait and had so much fun. I am excited that we can now say we live in Utah and have hiked the Narrows!

We went swimming and had a BBQ at Uncle Danny and Aunt Carrie's house in Highland! It was a fun day!

Happy Girl!

Kaleigh is so fun and happy!
